Cindy Crawford tries to begin every day by taking a dip in her hot tub. The 51-year-old star is one of the industry's original supermodels, soaring to fame alongside the likes of fellow fashionistas Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell. When she isn't busy working on new ventures, Cindy loves nothing more than to soak up the idyllic atmosphere of her Californian home.

"I live in Malibu at the beach so the first thing I do is go out and get in the Jacuzzi," she told New York Magazine's The Cut. "I look at the ocean as the sun is coming up and watch that every morning. That's the time before anyone needs anything from me, so I can walk through my day and see where something might slip through the cracks. It's also when I can have that gratitude moment. And when I get out I have a green tea."

She also uses her beach-side abode to work out, often taking advantage of the stairs from the house to the beach as a way to fit in her 20 minutes of cardio exercise. Cindy isn't obsessed with working up a sweat every day though, noting she aims for three cardio sessions a week. "Then I do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour of old school lunges, weights, squats, and bicep curls - it's just stuff that I learned 30 years ago," she smiled. "Once a week, I try to go on a hike with a friend so I combine exercise and girlfriend time - it's the best multitasking."

Also living with her is son Presley, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Kaia, who has followed in her mother's stylish footsteps by paving her own path in fashion. And when it comes to setting a good example for her mini-me, Cindy, who is married to businessman Rande Gerber, explained, "The good thing is that she's grown up with seeing how I take care of myself, so I don't really have to say that much to her."
