Kylie Jenner revealed the first time she dyed her hair

In honour of Throwback Thursday, Kylie posted a photo of her younger self on Twitter, when she had long dark brunette locks, with a blonde highlight at the front of her tresses.

"I begged my mom for a year to dye my hair & finally at 9yrs old she let me do this and only this!" Kylie explained to her 14.8 million followers, before adding that it "changed everything".

There's no doubt that it sparked a passion for all things beauty for Kylie – the young star has since dyed her tresses and rocked wigs in a wide array of colours including pink, navy blue, turquoise, grey and even green.

Kylie has commissioned a mural in honour of her favourite hairstyle

Kendall Jenner's younger sister recently chose to immortalise one of her favourite looks – the long pale mint hair she rocked at an event with Sugar Factory.

Kylie revealed that she has commissioned a mural to be painted in her Calabasas mansion, which depicts a close-up of the young star's face and long green hair.

The American beauty gave her 54.4 million Instagram followers a sneak peek at the ongoing work, which is being created by artist and tattooist Joshua Woods.

"@jwoodzart almost done!" she captioned a snap of the mural, which covers two walls in one room. "U guys have to check him out for tats if you're in the LA area." Joshua also shared a few photos of the artwork on his own Instagram account, admitting that it was his "first mural".
