Jessica Biel looked typically stunning at the Golden Globes, walking the red carpet with her husband Justin Timberlake. She wore her hair in an elegant updo, which, from the front, oozed Hollywood glamour. But at the back, Jessica gave her look a very modern update, choosing to have it fastened into a slick ponytail. Here's how you can create her gorgeous look using make-up by Bobbi Brown and hair products by GHD

Step 1:

Apply Bobbi Brown's Skin Long Wear Weightless Foundation on your face for full coverage. Next, apply the Retouching Powder in Peach to achieve that matte finish and airbrushed look.

Step 2:

Next, work on your eyes. This is a really quick two-step process. First, apply the Longwear Cream Shadow in Dusty Mauve to create a soft, winged look. You can use your fingers to blend the shadow onto your eyelids. Second, layer your lashes with the Smokey Eye Mascara to get that really powerful, full lash effect.

Step 3:

For Jessica's pretty pink lips, apply the Crushed Lip colour in Bitten.

Step 4:

Next, work on your hair. Make a deep side parting and then prep your hair with GHD's Root Lift Spray. Use a paddle brush and the Air Hairdryer to bring some direction into the top of the hair.

Step 5:

Straighten your hair using the GHD Platinum, to seal the cuticle and give it a French polish. Using the straighteners again, make a little wave in the front of your hair. Brush all your hair back, and then bind your ponytail with an elastic band. When you have the desired length of elastic, tie with a triple knot.

Step 6:

Top tip – to deal with any fly-away hairs, spray your hairspray onto a polishing brush and apply this way.
