Cover Girl star, Drew Barrymore has shown that she is more than just a pretty face, taking on her own beauty project, by creating a new cosmetic line for American retailer, Wal-Mart.The Charlie's Angels star and producer has been the face for Procter & Gamble's brand for the last five years but is said to be waiting until her contract ends in January before releasing her own range.

Now Drew has teamed up with Italian-based supplier of cosmetics, make-up and skincare, Intercos.

And despite having only given birth to her daughter Olive this September, it is said that the first-time-mum is currently hard at work developing products with Maesa Group, a beauty manufacturer based in France. It's the actress' first time at branching into beauty and it is believed the project will also be the first full make-up brand to be developed from scratch and sold exclusively for Wal-Mart. But the 37-year-old has previously shown signs that she is interested in more than being the face for Cover Girl, by taking on a leading role as co-director for their television campaign. Drew has worked for Lancome with make-up artist Gucci Westman and, in August , the actress told Haute Living that she has a "want to do it all" approach to her work. She said "I think it's nice to do what you really love in life, occupationally and recreationally. "Right now, I'm getting to do the things I love and I'm so, so happy about it." When we think of Drew’s look, we invariably think of her boho chic style with daisies woven through ombre-dipped hair, Sixties-style smokey eyes and soft nude lips. But never one to be afraid of trying bold, bright or deep lipsticks, or colourful glitters on the red carpet, the stunning blonde has always shown her love for experimentation and taking risks. Needless to say, we can't wait to get a piece of what this unique beauty line has to offer.
