Gwen Stefani was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with her newborn son Apollo. The No Doubt singer, 44, couldn't have looked better as she stepped out in a monochromatic see-through sweater and black waxy harem-style pants. She matched her outfit with strappy designer heels and dark sunglasses, and added a pop of colour to her look with her trademark red lipstick.

As she walked around Beverly Hills, Gwen cradled her eleven-week-old son close to her chest, who she had wrapped up in an elephant-printed blanket. The doting mother, who was accompanied by her nanny and assistant, was all smiles as she took Apollo to his first baby class. Gwen and her husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their family's latest arrival on 28 February, with the guitarist sharing the news on his Twitter account. "@gwenstefani welcome APOLLO BOWIE FLYNN ROSSDALE ❤❤❤2/28/14 ❤❤❤," tweeted proud dad Gavin. "Bowie and Flynn = [our] mothers' maiden names." Baby Apollo is younger brother to Gwen and Gavin's sons Kingston James McGregor, seven, and five-year-old Zuma Nesta Rock, as well being half-brother to Gavin's daughter, British model Daisy Lowe.

It looked like Gwen wanted to spend as much time with her newborn and brood as possible, as she prepares to get to work as a judge on The Voice. The Don't Speak singer announced that she would be joining the panel for the seventh season last month, by posting an Instagram photo of her hand holding a microphone and doing the show's signature peace sign. "It's true! gx @nbcthevoice," she captioned the shot. Gwen will be mentoring alongside veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as fellow newcomer Pharrell Williams.
