"I am thrilled that we have truly brought the Galliano story to life," he says. "I love the idea of the essence being worn like this.
"When I came up with the original concept of the Galliano perfume we had a story of “Scent and Scentibility” in which the Galliano Girl was searching for her scent.
"We told how she went through all the old markets and antique stores to try and find her essence. She ended up in an old curiosity shop where she stumbled upon an old charm bracelet made up of perfume bottles and this was what helped her to capture her own spirit and essence.
"At Galliano I love to tell a story, to emphasise and understand my muse as I bring her to life.
"The perfume should be on your bedside table, but this charm bracelet adds a new collectible, irresistible element to the tale. This is not only a trinket it is the key to the Galliano essence!"
Each charm has been carefully chosen by Galliano to reveal a piece of his story.
First there's the book, engraved with the Gothic letter ‘G’ - John never travels without his notebook to gather ideas.
Then there's the elegant English rose - John's favourite flower and the couturier’s inspiration - and a chandelier, to lend proceedings a soft romantic glow.
The antique dagger combines tradition with Galliano’s love of adventure and heroics and the perfume bottle, of course, represents part of his empire.
Finally, crowned with John’s cameo, there's a fine-cut medal that opens to reveal a balm perfumed with the floral, amber and woody facets of the fragrance.
