Mark opens up on his Mrs Wright as he launches new fragrance

Eligible bachelor Mark Wright has revealed to HELLO! Online the secret to being his Mrs Wright. And while we're sure stunning looks help, he insists it's all about personality. "She has to be friendly," he says. "Somebody I can have a laugh with and somebody who is innocent to everyone else but sexy to me." Chatting to the dapper Mark at the launch of his new fragrances, Mr Wright and Mrs Wright, I quickly understand why he earned a reputation as a lothario on The Only Way Is Essex, the hit TV show that made him famous – he oozes charisma and a certain charm that instantly puts you at ease in his company.

But I was not to be distracted – we had an interview to conduct. So, is there anybody special in Mark's life at the moment? "I'm pretty single," he insists. "Of course I talk to people, but there's nothing worth shouting home about. I have been single for around a year and three months now and it feels good." While the 25-year-old is enjoying his single status, mainly because he is "crazy busy" with a hectic work schedule, he admits that if the 'Wright' girl came along, he wouldn't think twice. "If someone said to me now: 'You're going to be in a really happy relationship, you will love her loads and have a fantastic time,' I'd say: 'Tell me where she is.' "I do like the thought of being in a relationship. I wouldn't say I miss what I had in the past but I do love being in a relationship – a happy one."

He adds that he is more likely to be attracted to a lady wearing Mrs Wright – his new fragrance for women that he describes as "sweet, innocent but sexy". But for the moment, Mark is focusing heavily on his career as a TV presenter. With a gig on hit show Take Me Out's ITV2 show alongside Zoe Hardman and primetime ITV1 show My Man Can in the pipeline, he is certainly working hard. "When my friends are out in clubs on a Saturday night, I'm sitting at home revising my script," he laughs. "But I'm loving it – long may it continue." With all his various TV projects on the go, along with promoting his two new fragrances – which he has clearly put a lot of hard work into and is very passionate about – how does he manage to stay in shape? "I always make time to work out," he says, "I love to keep fit. Usually, I train in the gym three times a week, mainly doing weights. And I also play football twice a week." He also maintains a healthy diet, revealing that his biggest tip is to "never be hungry. Always make sure you have healthy food on you, because when you're hungry the thought of chicken salad can make you feel sick." At the launch, held in one of London's most lavish hotels, Mark is constantly surrounded by people wanting photographs and to have a few words with the star. I start to wonder what he thinks of being in the public eye and how he feels about his relatively new-found fame. "For me, fame is about the success it brings," he says. "It's not about the 'Oh look at me, I'm famous,' side of things – I hate that. But I don't regret becoming famous. It's given me so much fun and the success I have had is brilliant, I'm really enjoying the ride. I just make sure I stay down to earth and normal. "That's important to me – to keep my friends and be able to go round to my mum's house in my scruffy tracksuit!"
