Kendall Jenner has defiantly spoken out about her less-than-perfect skin at the Golden Globes. The 22-year-old model made her debut at the star-studded awards show on Sunday dressed in a show-stopping Giambattista Valli black gown, and while many praised her gorgeous outfit, others took to social media to make cruel comments on her acne. However, the reality TV star – who has previously opened up about her struggles with her skin – hit back at the remarks on Monday with the best response. Kendall replied to a fan who had defended her by writing: "Ok but @KendallJenner showing up and strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star is what every girl needs to understand." Kim Kardashian's younger sister answered defiantly, saying: "Never let that stop you!"

Following Kendall's reply, fans rushed to comment, with the majority thanking her for speaking so honestly about her skin issues. One wrote: "Thank you for being so honest and fearless about your acne! I was so happy to show my middle school daughter that she's not alone! Thank you for doing that and helping girls see that they are still beautiful while struggling with acne." Another said: "You're such an inspiration for many. Keep being you and inspiring and shining." A third added: "As a performer that's struggled with acne my whole life, I applaud you for typing this."

Kendall isn’t the only celebrity who has spoken out about their acne. I'm A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo made her debut on This Morning on Monday, where she revealed her plans to launch a confidence campaign after being trolled over her own skin issues. She told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "Previously I have spoken about my skin, I want to do something about confidence. When I was in the jungle I felt great because I was away from criticism and being online."

Toff, 23, spoke out on Twitter over the weekend about some negative comments that she had received regarding her skin after photos emerged of her with new boyfriend Charles Goode. She responded by writing: "Just read some lovely comments about how I should go and 'buy some clearasil' and 'I hope he likes girls with massive spots like Toff' we need to be making each other feel confident not being cruel and unkind."
