When it comes to buying a new moisturiser, recommendations are a must - and we've got a goody for you, all the way from Australia. Yep, our mates in Oz have been busy voting for their fave cosmetics in the prestigious MECCA Beauty Election. Over 100,000 people vote for their top products across 12 categories, which include face cream, mascara, foundation and cleanser. Want to know which moisturiser came top? Aussie beauty fans have crowned Drunk Elephant's Lala Retro Whipped Cream their number one product. It costs $88 a pot and we've found it on amazon.co.uk for £71.60 – but hurry, there's only 11 left!

So what's all the hype about? The moisturiser is said to hydrate, improve firmness and boost the skin's elasticity. It's a classic formula – the type your grandma used to use - but infused with six antioxidant-rich African oils. It also contains fermented green tea to combat ageing and inflammation, and sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer to smooth out those wrinkles and stimulate collagen production.

The reviews on the Drunk Elephant website are pretty amazing too. One customer wrote: "Wow okay, I have never used a moisturiser this rich and I am glad that I did… It's so moisturising which is amazing for when my skin really needs that moisture. I love that it doesn't leave a greasy residue on my face after it's been put on." Another shopper said: "[I have] super dry, wind ravaged skin with eczema. This just makes my skin nice & soft. I really rate it. The dispenser is good too - you just pump it out as you need it."
