Primark has caused a stir among shoppers after launching a kitsch and colourful collection of homeware. The retailer has showcased pieces from its tropical homeware range on Instagram over the past week - and there's one piece in particular customers are obsessed with.

A neon pink flamingo light is one of the standout pieces from the collection, available in stores for just £10. It is a bargain compared to similar designs that are currently available in the likes of Debenhams, Urban Outfitters and Not on the High Street, for as much as £129. When an image of the lamp was posted on Instagram it soon clocked up over 1,000 comments from fans desperate to get their hands on one. "I want this flamingo sooo much," one commented. Another wrote: "I need this immediately."

Alternatively, there are a number of other trend-led home accessories available for spring-summer, such as botanical-inspired designs in muted tones of grey, pink and green. Copper lamps and candle holders give a nod to the mixed metallics trend, while Aztec print cushions and throws offer an easy way to give your home a fashion-forward update.

Meanwhile, Aldi is set to launch a contemporary, designer-inspired collection under £50 in February, which includes marble nest tables and a stylish tripod floor lamp.
