Can't wait for Love Island? You're going to be even more excited once you get a peek inside the incredible villa the contestants will call home for the next few weeks. The show is set to be filmed in the same converted farmhouse used in last year's series, but it has been redesigned for 2018 with a vibrant colour scheme, a luxurious hideaway and a new sundeck where the housemates can gossip and flirt.
Located near Sant Llorenc des Cardassar, about an hour outside of Palma, Majorca, the villa promises beautiful views and incredible weather, with temperatures currently hitting around 27⁰C. Good job they have an epic infinity pool to cool down in! Scroll to see more images of the luxurious villa, and set a reminder for 9pm on Monday 4 June, when Love Island makes its long-awaited return to ITV2.
Offering plenty of space for the islanders to hang out together, the lounge has a huge sofa with colourful cushions on a vibrant blue rug. Fake grass hung on the walls adds a quirky design touch, while a quote shows what's sure to be the housemates' new mantra: "Eat. Sleep. Selfie. Repeat."
We're sure the contestants will be spending plenty of time in this incredible infinity pool, which has beautiful Spanish vistas and numerous bean bags scattered around where they can top up their tans.
The sun deck has been reimagined for 2018, with plenty of space for new couples to get to know each other and relax in the sun. There are two daybeds, an outdoor bar as well as the fire pit, where the group will gather throughout the series and drama is sure to unfold. "I've got a text..!"
The guys and girls will be able to flex their muscles and show off their toned physiques at the weights area, which is kitted out with all the equipment they need to stay in shape during their time on the island.
The islanders can show off their culinary skills in this incredible outdoor kitchen, which has the same greenery and colourful quotes that run throughout the rest of the villa. The perfect spot for a romantic al fresco dinner?
Just like last year, all of the housemates will be sleeping side by side in a huge bedroom with six double beds. The room has a bright pink and blue colour scheme, with kitsch prints of pool inflatables hanging on the walls and cabinets with some of the show's most famous quotes emblazoned on them, including "pied" and "muggy".
The hideaway has been given a luxurious update for couples to enjoy some alone time away from the rest of the islanders. A faux fur throw and oversized cushions have been placed on the double bed, while a marble table is topped with two wine glasses – perfect for a romantic date.
The bathroom has been fitted out with everything the housemates could possibly need, including all of their toiletries, double sinks, a small bathtub and separate shower cubicle. There's also a separate area with hairdryers, straighteners and curlers where the group can get glammed up for their dates.
This new outside area is a great spot for couples to get away from the group, or for a good old gossip! The cosy spot has two chairs with incredible views over the Majorcan countryside, and is sure to be a popular location for dates.
