Kate Middleton has decided to break with royal tradition and take her newborn baby to the Middleton's family home in Berkshire.

Kate, who is six months pregnant, is said to have told her friends that she will move home to be with her mother, Carole Middleton and father, Michael Middleton as she adjusts to her role as a new mum. After giving birth around mid-July Kate will then move from hospital to her parent's home and spend around six weeks there without a a maternity nurse, as has previously been royal tradition. "Kate just feels safest and most secure" when she's with her family, a source told the Daily Mail.

Kate is very close to Carole and Michael and broke with royal tradition late last year when she and husband Prince William chose to spend Christmas at the Middleton's £4.85million Georgian home, rather than at the Queen's Sandringham Estate.Situated in the countryside, the secluded house will give the royal couple and their newborn more privacy and having Carole, who also has daughter Pippa Middleton and son James Middleton, around will provide new-mum Kate with invaluable support.
