Prince William reveals that George loves playing with his and Kate's iPad

Prince William revealed that his son Prince George loves playing on his and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton's iPad. The royal shared the detail of his little one's play-time during a chat with an executive at a technology event at New York's Empire State Building during his and Kate’s three-day USA tour. Ayah Bdeir, the chief executive of a firm that builds snap-together electronics for children, told The Times: "He had so much fun. "He told me that his son George has been playing iPad games and loves them and that this was a good way to teach him the inner workings of electronics."

Prince George loves playing with his parents' iPad

William and Kate's 16-month-old toddler stayed at home while his parents made a whistle-stop visit to New York from Sunday to Wednesday.

The pair had a packed itinerary which saw them dine with celebrities and attend several engagements. William also flew to Washington D.C. to meet President Barack Obama at the White House.

Meanwhile, Kate had the chance to bond with other youngsters as she visited a local child development centre in Harlem.

William plans to teach George the inner workings of electronics

Showing her maternal side, Kate met three and four-year-old youngsters who are being supported by the centre, and eagerly took part in their festive activity by wrapping up donated Christmas presents and making crafts.

Guided by New York's First Lady Chirlane McCray, the Duchess, who is five months pregnant with her second child, headed to Harlem in the northern section of Manhattan.

The same day she was joined by William and the two watched the Brooklyn Nets take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in a basketball game. They even met Beyoncé Knowles and her husband, rapper Jay Z, courtside.

History of Art graduate Kate also toured the facility and learnt from staff and volunteers how the organisation fosters the healthy development of children and families, by providing high-quality mental health and educational services.
