Duchess Kate and Prince George's fun Christmas trip revealed

Share this:

Prince George may have been too young to appreciate Christmas last year, but at 16-months-old, the playful tot seemed just the right age to enjoy this winter's festivities. He experienced his first Winter Wonderland day out last week with his mum Duchess Kate, an insider has confirmed to HELLO! magazine. Travelling just a stone's throw away from their Kensington Palace home to Hyde Park, Kate and George made an incognito visit to the annual London attraction. "They spent an hour together in Santa Land, enjoying a ride on the teacup ride, and looked like they were having a fantastic time," an onlooker exclusively revealed to HELLO! magazine.

Duchess Kate enjoyed a Christmas day out in Winter Wonderland with baby Prince George

"George was dressed warmly in a snowsuit and Kate was dressed down, wearing a baseball cap. They arrived at 11am and happily mingled with other members of the public." It didn't look as if George paid a visit to Santa, but Prince William and Kate's firstborn seemed to have enjoyed his day out with his pregnant mum. The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her second child in April of next year, welcoming a younger brother or sister for gorgeous George.

Prince George's new photos are available to see in this week's issue of HELLO!

Their quick excursion to Winter Wonderland came just a few days before a set of three new official photos of George were released to the public. Royal watchers were quick to note that the tot bears a striking resemblance to his father, when William himself was a young child. Looking every inch the dapper toddler, George, whose photos feature in this week's magazine of HELLO!, is pictured sitting in the courtyard of his palatial residence, gazing up at the sky in one shot and giving his knowing, cheeky smile in the other two.

Prince George's knitted jumper sold out weeks before the photos were released

For his photoshoot, William and Kate's son sported black shorts, a white shirt and a navy London Guards knitted jumper by Cath Kidston. Unfortunately for George fans, the woollen top had already sold out weeks before the photos were made public, meaning they couldn't rush out to buy replicas. The high street retailer said that they are hoping to put the jumper back on sale after being inundated with requests from shoppers worldwide.
