During their segment, Johnny Wilkinson asks his pal what the young boy is doing picking up the ball. “Don't worry Johnny it'll never take off," Harry responds with a cheeky smirk.

The fifth in line to the throne, who is is the honorary president of England Rugby 2015, the organising committee staging the contest, was also tasked with making a speech. Dressed in a smart grey suit and a light blue tie the Prince welcomed the visiting teams to Twickenham and told the crowd of his aspirations for the sporting tournament. "This evening marks the beginning of a celebration of rugby which I hope will inspire current players, those new to the game and future generations," he said.

Also attending the start of the tournament were Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge

"Across the country, regardless of age, background or beliefs; this nation, which gave rugby to the world in 1823, will join together and celebrate the game like never before. "Following his speech Harry took up his seat in the crowd where he was joined by his brother Prince William and sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge to watch the first game of the tournament. The trio were clearly gripped by the sporting action and no doubt happy to see England emerge triumphant over Fiji.
