See how the UK will celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday

The UK is celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday on Sunday event in a spectacular extravaganza taking filled with celebrity performers as well as a horse show.

The show, which will be presented by national treasures Ant and Dec, will feature a parade of 900 horses, with over 1500 performers due to perform. The show will commemorate moments from her majesty's life from her early years to World War 2 to her Coronation, and will ultimately celebrate her reign spanning an incredible 60 years.

Buckingham Palace released never-before-seen photos of the Queen to celebrate her 90th birthday

Ant and Dec revealed how honoured they were to have been chosen to present the prestigious occasion, saying: "We are honoured to be hosting this special celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday. This spectacular evening will bring together some of the best known names in the entertainment world who will perform with 900 horses and 1500 participants to mark this very special birthday."

Jim Carter and Imelda Staunton will start the show with the Queen's childhood years, with Jim narrating and Imelda singing.

This part of the show will also feature horses from the Shetland Pony Grand National, Pony Club and Kings Troop Royal Artillery before Dame Helen Mirren takes over with the Queen's teenage years up to World War 2, which she will perform through various musical numbers. Katherine Jenkins will then perform ‘I Vow To Thee My Country’.

1500 performers will appear in Sunday night's celebrations

Alan Titchmarsh will be on hand to talk the audience through the Queen's estates as well as her family, horses and dogs, and will be joined by performers from the Royal Estates.

The evening will also include a performance from James Blunt, who will be making an appearance with The Royal Household Cavalry, a regiment he served with during his six years in the armed forces.

Other performers confirmed to apepar to celebrate the Queen's landmark birthday include Gary Barlow, Alfie Boe, Beverley Knight and Kylie Minogue, with a very special performance from Dame Shirley Bassey to close the show.

The Queen has already been celebrating her birthday in style. On her 90th birthday, which took place on 21 April, her majesty enjoyed meeting the crowds of well-wishers at Windsor Castle, cut her birthday cake made by Great British Bake-Off's Nadiya Hussain, and took an open topped car ride through the streets of Windsor with Prince Phillip.
