Victoria bumping along nicely as she prepares a nursery fit for a king

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has looked positively glowing since she and husband Prince Daniel revealed they were expecting their first child. And now her burgeoning bump is growing in direct proportion to the excitement surrounding the future prince or princess. Victoria's blooming tummy was distinctly visible under as she and Daniel visited Jarfalla, outside Stockholm recently.

Although the couple were wrapped up warm against the cold, they recieved a warm welcome from the waiting crowds.

It is thought that the visit will be one of Victoria's last big engagements as she reduces her schedule ahead of the spring 2012 due date.

 Meanwhile, the couple are prepping their residence for their new arrival. Victoria has described Haga Palace, their base since November 2010 as a "real Pippi Longstocking home", in reference to the popular children's character.

The 19th-century mansion was designed as grand house rather than an official residence giving it a an informal cosy feel.

It has a garden measuring eight hectares, with a lake and the original playhouse used by Gustaf V, the current king's great-grandfather. Indeed Carl Gustaf, Victoria's father, would've played there himself as a child. "It has special meaning for the king, who is one of many generations of royals to have grown up there," Roger Lundgren, an expert on the Swedish royal family told newspaper The Local."His own memories, as well as his sisters’ of the house, were of an idyllic place."
