Zara, who is the Queen’s granddaughter, and baby Mia, who is now 16th in line to the throne, watched as Mike’s Gloucester Rugby team beat the Newcastle Falcons with Mike scoring a try for the team.

The little girl, who is the Queen's third great-granddaughter, will be a playmate for Prince William and Kate Middleton's son Prince George as well as for Zara's brother Peter's two little girls, Savannah, who turned three on 29 December and Isla, 22 months.

Zara is Prince George’s godmother and is it expected that the two will grow up closely.

Mike announced on Twitter several days after the birth that their new daughter would be called Mia Grace Tindall.

Former England rugby star Mike revealed the news on Twitter, writing: "For everyone who asked what our daughter’s name is, it's Mia Grace."

Zara and Mike later introduced baby Mia to the world exclusively in HELLO! "As Friday's child, Mia's supposed to be loving and giving," Zara told HELLO! in the exclusive interview accompanying their first family photoshoot. "She's pretty relaxed and happy so far. She's cool, but then perhaps all parents say that."

Zara Phillips with baby Mia Speaking to ITV’s News at 10 about the couple’s decision to release photos, Mike said: "We did it because people wanted it. "Mike went on to add that it made sense as the photos were to be taken anyway."

We had control over it. We had those photos done anyway, it was more because people seemed to want it rather than anything else", he added.

Zara has been busy over the last few months since giving birth.

As well as attending the Barbury races, the 32-year-old also visited Cheltenham Races several times with her husband Mike, her mother Princess Anne and sister-in-law Autumn Philips.
