Michelle Obama enjoyed some quality time with her oldest daughter Malia at the weekend, as the pair visited Miami together. The former First Lady was spotted at Miami Beach with Malia, 19, and a group of friends, plus Secret Service personnel, on Saturday.

The 53-year-old showed off her toned physique in a white bikini teamed with matching white denim shorts and a loose shirt. She tied a bandana around her hair and wore black sunglasses for their stroll along the beach. Meanwhile Malia wore a cropped Out from Under hoodie over a black bikini, and could be seen clutching her phone and a book as they returned to their hotel. Former US President Barack Obama and the couple's youngest daughter Sasha, 13, were nowhere to be seen.

A few hours later, the mother-daughter duo were seen leaving Prime 112 steakhouse, a popular restaurant located within the historic Browns Hotel on Ocean Drive. The restaurant is a favourite among celebrities and politicians alike, with Justin Bieber, former US President Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey, who people are backing to run for President in 2020, among the former customers.

Malia is enjoying an extended winter break before she returns to Harvard, where she enrolled in August 2017. Along with her visit to Miami, the teenager also joined her family to celebrate Christmas together in Hawaii.

The family could soon be living a little closer to where Malia is studying, following reports that Barack and Michelle are considering a possible move to New York. According to Page Six, the former US President and First Lady were spotted visiting an apartment in a historic building in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in October. The £7.5million property offers five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library and views of the East River, along with strong security, including an underground drive-in garage.
