Share this:

Brides-to-be will soon descend upon New York for one of the hottest events in the bridal calendar — New York Bridal Week.

Alongside London and Barcelona, the Big Apple has been tipped as a trend-setting city when it comes to discovering the latest wedding trends.

Fashion houses such as Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier and Oscar de la Renta will unveil their spring-summer 2015 collections, while shoe designers, accessory makers and quality caterers will all be thrown into the bridal mix.

Carolina Herrera

While other bridal weeks, such as the one in Barcelona, see exhibitors come together under one roof, New York's will be slightly different. The list of designers is lengthy, and will see brides-to-be flocking from one end of the city to the other to view the various showrooms.

Vera Wang and Angel Sanchez

Judging from previous collections and styles, we can expect to see Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta flaunting classic, romantic gowns to fit the romantic bride. Fashion watchers will also be waiting to see what surprise Vera Wang pulls out, who last year established block monochrome as the new white.

Marchesa and Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier and Marchesa, the new wedding dress designer on the block, will also be drawing brides to their collections, while Amsale , Christos and Angel Sanchez  have also confirmed their attendance.New York Bridal Week kicks off on 11 April.
