Just weeks after condemning what she described as "violation after violation" a judge has sentenced Lindsay Lohan to serve 30 days in prison.
At the 25-year-old actress' last court appearance in October, the official threatened to get tough, saying: "If jail meant something in the state of California now, maybe I'd put her in jail."
And now Judge Stephanie Sautner has followed through on her threat.
She imposed a complicated sentence on the actress, telling her that she will have to perform all of her community service at the county morgue - or risk serving an additional 270 days in jail.
The punishment comes after the 25-year-old actress flouted the conditions of her probation by being ejected from a previous community service assignment.
At her preliminary hearing on October 19, Lindsay was pale and tearful as she was led from the room in handcuffs.
On this occasion, however, the Mean Girls star looked more composed in a polka dot dress and sunglasses shielding her eyes from hoardes of waiting photographers.
This will be Lindsay's fifth jail sentence after being arrested twice for drunken driving in 2007.
The actress also served 35 days on house arrest on a four month jail sentence.
