Salma Hayek has hailed the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress designer as "unforgettable and extraordinary" as Alexander McQueen showed off its latest line for the first time.
The Puss In Boots actress said McQueen creative director Sarah Burton had "set the bar high" with the McQ diffusion collection, a more affordable spin-off of the high-end Alexander McQueen label.
The brand, which counts Emma Watson, Chloe Moretz and Rihanna as fans, presented its autumn/winter collection at the Old Sorting Office in central London. Sarah also oversees the McQ range.
Salma who attended the show with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault - head of luxury fashion conglomerate PPR - said: "The show was truly sensational - really, really amazing - not at all what I was expecting.
"The clothes were already unforgettable and extraordinary.
"Sarah Burton set the bar really high - it makes me nervous it is so good. What is she going to do for McQueen now?"
