After four days away from his new baby girl and his wife, David Cameron was missing his girls, admitting he was "miserable" without them.
And the joy on his face was easy to read on Wednesday as he was reunited with Samantha and little Florence, picking them up from Birmingham train station.
David, who has been in the city since Saturday for the Conservative Party Conference, earlier said he couldn't wait to see his new daughter again.
And gazing at her husband as he held their little girl – who was born on August 24 – Samantha looked equally happy to be back at his side.
