The body of a woman found on the Queen's Sandringham estate on New Year's Day has been confirmed as that of Latvian 17-year-old Alisa Dmitrijeva.
A passer by discovered the body at 4pm on New Year's Day whilst walking their dog on farmland about a mile from the main gate to Sandringham House.
Forensic tests helped police identify the victim who went missing from her home in Norfolk in August.
The teenager was last seen in King's Lynn on August 31 and was reported missing by her family six days later.
Her relatives released a statement saying they were "devastated" and asking to be allowed to grieve in peace.
