Rihanna has made history in the UK charts by becoming the first female solo artist to have number one singles in five consecutive years.
The achievement has added weight considering the last solo artist to perform the same feat was Elvis Presley, who had number ones in every year from 1957 to 1963.
The 22-year-old singer has sold more than 25 million records worldwide and was pushed into her current position after latest single What's my Name?' rose from number two to number one.
Her latest album Loud is also at the top slot giving her the second UK chart double of her career.
