Alesha Dixon has admitted she thinks being a judge on The X Factor would be "more creative" than her current job on Strictly Come Dancing.
Simon Cowell has confirmed he and Cheryl Cole will not be taking part in the UK X Factor this year as they launch the show in the US, but is yet to confirm who will join Take That's Gary Barlow on the UK judging panel.
Alesha, who judges rival BBC show Strictly Come Dancing confessed: "I do think it's great on X Factor that the judges get to mentor. It's much more creative."
She went on: "We don't do that on Strictly, we just comment and give our opinion. I'm into anything that enables me to use my creativity."
Regarding Cheryl’s new gig, the 32-year-old said "I'm sure she'll be great. She's been doing it in the UK for a few years and she's a pro."
