Ahead of wedding, Chelsea and fiancé mix with royalty

Wednesday July 14, 2010

Weeks before her big day Chelsea Clinton was getting a taste of the world of fine wine at a party for top winery Chateau Haut-Brion.

She was accompanied by her groom-to-be, Marc Mezvinsky, and her father, former US president Bill Clinton.

The MET bash was thrown by Prince Robert of Luxembourg to commemorate his great-grandfather’s purchase of the wine estate 75 years ago.

With excellent wines and a menu created by acclaimed chef, Chef Daniel Boulud, the black-tie affair may have given Chelsea ideas for her own celebration.

The much-anticipated wedding will take place on July 31 on a 50-acre estate north of New York and will read like a “who’s who” of celebrity and statesmen.

Those said to have confirmed attendance include Barack Obama, Steven Spielberg, Barbara Streisand, Oprah Winfrey, and former British Prime Minister John Major, reports RadarOnline.com.
