Prince Harry and Dominic West are set to go head-to-head in a 208-mile trek to the South Pole in December.
The pair, both former Etonians, will compete in the challenge in aid of Walking with the Wounded.
Sheffield born Dominic is said to have already spent a week in Iceland for "secret training."
Competitive Harry, however, has claimed he will still "have a brew ready" for Dominic at the finish line.
Harry first took part in the charity's work with the trek to the North Pole in 2011, although sadly had to withdraw early due to the royal wedding.
He also missed out on a climb to Mount Everest last year due to military commitments.
This year Harry is determined he will not miss the expedition with his team of British servicemen.
Dominic will join the Commonwealth team while an American team will also participate.
