It emerged this week that late actress Farah Fawcett left around $6 million in her will – but none of it to her long-term partner Ryan O'Neal.
Instead the Charlie's Angel beauty, who passed away in June, wanted the couple's son Redmond to receive the majority of her wealth, according to a copy of her will obtained by RadarOnline website.
So how has the Love Story actor - who proposed to Farrah in hospital although they did not get the chance to wed - reacted to the news?
"Farrah's and my relationship was based on a deep love and respect for one another and for our son Redmond," Ryan said in a statement.
"After discussing how her financial affairs would be handled in the event of her passing we agreed that our son Redmond would be the primary beneficiary of her estate.
"These were Farrah's wishes and I am perfectly happy with them."
In the past Ryan has noted that he is financially stable thanks to property investments.
"I sincerely hope that everyone will remember and celebrate the legacy that Farrah left behind, and will now let her rest in peace," he added.
