Emma Stone is to make her Broadway debut in the show Cabaret.
The 25-year-old star will take on the role of singer Sally Bowles, as made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film version.
Emma is taking over from Michelle Williams, who has been playing Sally since the show opened in April.
The Amazing Spider-Man star will begin her run on 11 November until 1 February.
She will star opposite Alan Cumming, who will continue to play Emcee of the Kit Kat club until 29 March.
Emma was originally cast in the Sam Mendes-directed production, but had to withdraw because of scheduling conflicts.
To date, the Broadway show has grossed $15.7million, "showing resilience at the box office through the summer months, when many shows tend to taper off," the Hollywood Reporter said.
