Friday November 21, 2014

Fans of Denise Van Outen showed their support by pledging £556 in a LINDT auction for BBC Children in Need.

In a bid to win a limited edition LINDT bear signed by the West End star, fans of Denise showed their dedication in helping her Bear become the most expensive sold in the online auction.

A total of 11 Bears were signed by a variety of big hearted celebrities from showbiz royalty, who took part this year, including Amanda Holden, Downton Abbey's Lady Grantham (actress Elizabeth McGovern), Nicole Scherzinger and her former X Factor fellow judge Gary Barlow, girl band Little Mix, Suki Waterhouse, Kimberly Wyatt and Alexandra Burke.

The auction, which raised over £3,000, was part of a pledge from LINDT to raise £100,000 for BBC Children in Need through its Show You Care With a Lindt Bear campaign.

A LINDT spokesperson said: "It was our pleasure to once again work with BBC Children in Need and with the celebrities who donated their time by signing a limited edition LINDT Bear, which was auctioned online to raise funds for this very worthy cause."
