The British royal family has a well-deserved private holiday in store this week.
Clutching laptops and decked out in nautical attire, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie boarded the luxurious Hebridean Princess in Stornoway on Friday.
Although an official itinerary has not been released they will enjoy a ten-day cruise around the Western Isles stopping off at various ports along the way.
The voyage will also be the setting for the celebration of two very important birthdays: Prince Andrew who turned 50 earlier this year and Princess Anne who will be 60 in August.
Prince Edward is also expected to join the party along with Anne's son Peter Philips and his pregnant wife Autumn.
This trip will be a chance for the family to spend some time together after the 84-year-old monarch's recent busy schedule which included a nine-day visit to Canada and a speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
