Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has spoken of her joy at the arrival of baby daughter Polly.
After the birth of the little girl, five weeks prematurely, on Wednesday, the 34-year-old publically thanked her fiancé for the gift of their child, and all her fans for their good wishes.
"Our beautiful baby girl is doing so well," she wrote on Twitter. "Thank you Jamie Lomas for our gorgeous girl."
She also revealed her two children from a previous relationship, David, 15, and Emily, 13, and Jamie's son Billy, five, are delighted by their new little sister.
"Very much in love with Polly, and David, Emily and Billy are ecstatic.
"Signing off now, v tired!…Going to sleep grateful for my beautiful children."
Hollyoaks actor Jamie, 30, has also expressed gratitude to fans for their kind words.
"Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, she is an absolute belter and is doing really well.
"Kym, really proud of you. go on Polly Lomas."
The safe arrival of their daughter was particularly poignant for the couple, who started dating in July 2008.
In 2009 they suffered the tragic loss of son Archie, who passed away moments after he was born 18 weeks prematurely.
