Heather Mills enters radio contest to win Whitney Houston tickets

Tuesday April 27, 2010

It seems money really can't buy you everything.

Although Heather Mills has a fortune of over £24.3million after her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney, the charity campaigner became like any other fan in her attempts to get Whitney Houston tickets this week.

Heather was so desperate to see the I Will Always Love You star in concert that she personally phoned Heart FM Sussex and entered a contest.

Identifying herself as "Heather from Hove" who was "just about to take her dog for a walk", the 42-year-old successfully identified the missing word to a Whitney song to win the tickets.

"That's wonderful. Thank you so much. I can take my girlfriend. I'm really excited," Heather screamed down the phone after scooping the tickets.

Later, she confirmed the news on her Twitter page, writing: "Whitney Houston sold out, called Heart FM for a laugh to try and win tickets for my ex's 82-year-old mega fan Mum and won, she is so happy."
