Michelle Keegan has donated her sofa for charity, in support of the British Heart Foundation's partnership with DFS.
The initiative enables anyone who buys a new DFS sofa to have their old one taken away for free, and resold by the charity.
"I have moved house recently and I love that it removes the hassle of having to organise for my old sofa to be taken away," said Michelle, who recently left Manchester to move to Essex with fiancé Mark Wright.
"It's also lovely to know that my old sofa is going to a new home," she added. "While raising life-saving funds for the British Heart Foundation in the process."
The former Coronation Street star revealed the benefits of the initiative, highlighting the hassle-free aspects. "Whether you're moving home and need a new sofa, or just fancy a change, anyone who buys a sofa from DFS can have their old, unwanted sofa collected completely free of charge."
The charity partnership plans to raise a target of £3million within one year on top of the £3.7million already raised in the fight against heart disease.
