Natalie Portman struggles to hold back the tears as she collects the award for best actress at the Oscars 2011.
On stage to accept the prestigious statuette, the pregnant Black Swan star thanked her parents "first and foremost for giving me life.
"And the opportunity to work at such a young age."
She also paid tribute to her "beautiful love Benjamin Millepied" who choreographed the film and "has now given me the most important role of my life".
The actress was the frontrunner to win the Oscar for her portrayal of a troubled ballet dancer.
She had already taken home the best actress awards at the Golden Globes and the Baftas.
