Lea Michele will star in the upcoming series seven of biker drama Sons of Anarchy.
The excited actress announced on her Twitter page that she would be making her debut on the programme which airs on the FX network in the United States.
Lea tweeted: "I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink," giving thanks to Paris Barclay, the show’s executive producer, and creator Kurt Sutter.
The 27-year-old Glee star also posted a selfie of herself with Paris Barclay, adding the caption: "On set at @SonsofAnarchy with my favorite person @Harparbar this is so cool!"
Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Lea will play the character Gertie, "an empathetic truck-stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma (Katey Sagal) during a difficult time" in the sixth episode of the upcoming series.
Lea isn’t the only star to land a guest role on the show this season. A few weeks ago, FX announced that Courtney Love will also be joining the cast as a preschool teacher.
Season 6 of Sons of Anarchy is set to air on DVD Region 2 UK this September.
