Pop rock band Jonas Brothers have split up.
"It's over for now," says Kevin Jonas, one of the trio band which also includes brothers Nick, 21, and 24-year-old Joe.
"It's really hard to say 'forever,' " says Nick. "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
"It was a unanimous decision," Joe tells People.
The split comes three weeks after the group announced they were canceling their tour due to a "deep rift within the band" and follows after an early October meeting where Nick confessed to his brothers that he had serious concerns about the future of the band.
"I was feeling kind of trapped," he said. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
The boys have been together since 2005 and gained worldwide popularity when they appeared in Disney film Camp Rock.
