Pop sensation Girls Aloud have denied rumours that they will reunite without Nadine Coyle.
Since Northern-Irish singer Nadine moved to California with her family in 2006, she has grown increasingly apart from her London-based bandmates.
Nicola Roberts told HELLO! magazine in April: "If I'm really honest, we haven't spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September. I talked to the other girls about it on Monday and no, none of us have heard from her."
And last month, Nadine said she was in no hurry to rejoin the group just yet, choosing instead to focus on her debut solo album.
Over the past thirteen months, Girls Aloud members, who were united on ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, have been on a hiatus and working on their own projects.
Cheryl Cole, who is currently recovering from malaria, is preparing to release her second solo album and is set to return to the X-Factor on her return to the UK; Sarah Harding is concentrating on her acting career; Kimberley Walsh has broken into TV presenting and Nicola Roberts has launched a make-up range.
Despite a source telling The Sun that the girls will reunite as a four-piece in order to 'avoid squabbles', the group's spokesperson denied the reports on Friday, saying they had signed a record deal and would be releasing their sixth studio album as a five-piece.
