Superwoman Victoria Beckham juggles homelife and celebrity
23 FEBRUARY 2009
Life has never been busier for Victoria Beckham.
Between launching her second fashion collection at New York Fashion week, notching up 25,000 air miles visiting husband David in Milan and being a mum to three young boys, the former Spice Girl has become something of a 'superwoman' of late.
So it was rather appropriate that 'super heroes' was the theme for her youngest son Cruz's fourth birthday on Saturday, for which the 34-year-old threw a costume party.
Despite co-ordinating the show single-handedly while David is in Europe, Victoria looked chic as ever as she spent time with her boys. While mum had gone for a tailored linen affair in navy and black, her two younger sons were clearly revelling in the chance to dress up. Cruz as Hugh Jackman's X-Men character Wolverine and big brother Romeo, six, as Batman.
Twenty four hours later Posh was back in celebrity mode as she spent the evening rubbing shoulders with stars including Kate Beckinsale, Dita Von Teese and Eva Longoria at an Oscar bash hosted by pal Elton John.
The high-profile West Hollywood soiree gave Victoria the perfect opportunity to combine business and pleasure by modelling a black jersey, fishtail dress from her recently presented autumn collection.
