In the Sixties it was the Beatles that had crowds of girls screaming and jamming up the streets wherever they went. But these days Justin Bieber is the prince of teen pop.
The 17-year-old singer caused chaos in Liverpool, the home of Paul McCartney's famous band, when he rolled into town during the British leg of his world tour.
In the end he was allowed out on the balcony to wave to some of his British 'Beliebers', as his fans are known.
There have been reports of solid screaming during Justin's sell out two-hour shows.
The British leg comes in the middle of his world tour. After Liverpool, he will play London, Manchester Sheffield and Nottingham, before heading off for Germany.
His popularity continues to grow – the teen idol's Twitter followers hit the 8 million mark this week.
But the Canada-born star's biggest fan is currently back in the US. Selena Gomez and Justin went public with their romance at the Oscars in February.
