Reps for pregnant Kim Kardashian, 32, have denied that the star sent a gift to Kate Middleton, a fellow mum-to-be.
Earlier this week, reports emerged that the reality TV queen had sent the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, a "kind, warm note" accompanied by a gift and some sound maternity advice. However, Kim's team have told E! News that no such thing happened.
It's not the first time the two women, who are both first time mothers and share a July due date, have been linked.
When Kim and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney brought the Kardashian Kollection to UK shores last year, Kim was said to have sent some of her wares for Kate to try out. Reports suggested the Duchess, who never accepts freebies, returned the clothes.
Reps for Kim again clarified the situation, with one spokesperson telling the Mail Online, "I confirm that clothes were not sent to Kate. This is just a rumour that someone wanted to start."
Kim's pregnancy is causing much public interest. The star, who is thought to be expecting a girl with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West, has been pictured wearing a series of alternative maternity outfits including tight leather dresses and towering stiletto heels.
The brunette recently defended her choice of look on her blog. "I saw some comments that were so critical!" she wrote. "It's funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant people's opinions will be on an all-time high and everyone will chime in. So I now see what she means."
She added that looking and feeling her best was the ultimate solution for her. "For any concerned that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body!" she said.
"They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!"
Mum of two Gwyneth Paltrow works out with Kim's trainer Tracy Anderson and she also spoke out in support of Kim, saying, "It's a difficult time, and I think Kim Kardashian looks absolutely beautiful".
