Uma Thurman's timeless beauty has made her one of Hollywood's most captivating screen stars — and her daughter has clearly been blessed with the same genes.
This week, Uma made a rare public appearance with her eldest child, Maya, 14. Looking far younger than her 42 years, the Kill Bill star stopped out with her teenage daughter at Calvin Klein Collection's Human Rights Party in New York where it was instantly clear that Maya has inherited her mother's almost ethereal looks.
Uma looked effortlessly elegant in a black dress, her hair worn down in a tousled style, at the event, and Maya perfectly complemented her in a knee-length white dress as mother and daughter happily posed together on the red carpet.
Maya is Uma's daughter with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke. The couple, who were married from 1998 until 2003, and are also parents to son Levon, who was born in 2002.
In July of last year, the actress welcomed her third child, a little girl, whose father is Arpad Busson. The happy couple affectionately call their daughter Luna, but chose to give her a series of names — Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altaluna Florence Thurman-Busson — an idea that came from big sister Maya.
"(Maya) came up with the best excuse, which was that I probably wouldn't get to have any more children, so I just put every name I liked," Uma revealed. "We couldn't quite agree on the name. We call her Luna so she's lucky that way," she said.
