Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrive in Japan with their kids to promote World War Z

by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were all smiles on Sunday as they arrived in Japan with their children Pax, nine, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

As they made their way through Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, where Brad is promoting his new film World War Z, the family were greeted by a huge crowd of screaming fans.

Despite the long-haul flight, a beaming Angelina, 38, seemed more than pleased to stop and sign autographs as well as pose for photographs.

Wearing an all black ensemble, the Tomb Raider actress was the picture of health after undergoing a double mastectomy to reduce her chances of getting breast cancer at the beginning of the year.

Her soon-to-be husband opted for a casual look in khaki colours and was also delighted by the warm welcome from fans.

Pax had an extra companion for the trip - a big purple teddy bear, while twins Vivienne and Knox, were carrying a pastel green-coloured blanket.

Although the couple's eldest son, Maddox, made his first big-screen appearance in the film, he was nowhere to be seen. Shiloh and Zahara also missed out on the trip, preferring to stay in the States.

Brad and Angelina are currently taking a break from their filming obligations to promote World War Z. Brad, 49, is currently based in London where he is shooting World War II drama Fury, and Angelina is directing her own war flick called Unbroken in Hawaii.

Although production for World War Z was delayed and incurred massive production costs, the zombie movie topped the global box office upon its opening at the beginning of July.

In the first ten days, the film secured $263million worldwide, before it had even opened in France, Germany and Japan.
