The broadcast will take place later that evening on ITV as part of a highlights package and fellow stage star Stephen Mangan will help her out in front of the audience. He is appearing on stage in Olivier-nominated comedy Jeeves & Wooster In Perfect Nonsense.

Meanwhile Gemma, 28, is to star this coming autumn in the new musical Made In Dagenham after finding worldwide fame in films such as Quantum of Solace and St Trinian’s. Olivier Award winner Julie Walters will be providing a very recognisable voiceover for the ceremony.
While more details are due to come out soon regarding the event, it has been revealed this year’s new set was done by multi award-winning international stage designer Es Devlin. She has worked on drama, dance, opera and pop production previously and was behind the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony bash.

Hollywood actors Jude Law and Tom Hiddleston are to battle it out at this year’s Olivier awards. Best Actor category is dominated by Shakespearean performances with Jude being nominated for his part in Henry V, Tom for his role in Coriolanus and Rory Kinnear for his performance in Othello.
However the big shock at the Mastercard-sponsored event was that Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe was overlooked for his role as Cripple Billy in The Cripple of Inishmaan, despite having won Best Actor for his performance in the role at the What’sOnStage Awards.
Screen favourite Dame Judi Dench also picked up a nomination for her role in Peter and Alice which she starred in alongside fellow Bond cast member Ben Whishaw.
