George Clooney has expressed his joy and happiness at the news that his close friend Brad Pitt has married Angelina Jolie.
The 53-year-old actor, who is set to walk down the aisle himself next month, spoke to People shortly after the wedding reports came to surface.
"How great is that?!" said George. "I'm really happy for Brad and Angie and their whole family."

Brad, 50, and Angelina, 39, shocked the celebrity world when it was confirmed that they had tied the knot on Saturday in a secret ceremony in front of family and friends.
The couple, who have been together for nine years and are parents to six children, said "I do" in France, at the Chateau Miraval in Correns – the sprawling estate they have been leasing since 2008.

Brad and Angelina made sure that their six kids all played a special part in the big day, with the Hollywood actress' eldest sons Maddox, 12, and Pax, ten, walking their mum down the aisle. Zahara, nine, and five-year-old Vivienne, threw petals while Shiloh, seven, and Knox, five, served as ring bearers during the non-denominational civil ceremony.

George, meanwhile, is gearing up for his own nuptials to lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin.
The lovebirds will marry in mid-September and have reportedly settled on Lake Como as their wedding venue, where George owns a luxurious villa.
Brad and George's friendship spans several years, with the pair starring in various blockbusters including Ocean's Eleven and its sequels, Burn After Reading and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
