by hellomagazine.com Happy birthday, Amy Williams! As the British Olympian turns 32, HELLO! Online takes a look at what the stars have in store for Amy, and for you...

This is what Amy, who is a Libra, can expect today:

History is being rewritten all day, every day. We all think that somehow, we are entitled to look back at various events and read, into them, more than anyone saw at the time. 'If it hadn't been for this...,' we say. Or 'things might have been different if only...' Who can argue with such assertions? Only other historians! Surely, the future of history will only bring yet more debate and reinterpretation. There's no definitive answer to this week's biggest question. Just an answer that seemingly makes most sense for now!

British sportswoman Amy Williams was originally a runner but switched to skeleton after trying out a track at the University of Bath.

The 32-year-old has been quoted as describing her first try at the notoriously dangerous sport as "exhilarating and terrifying", and she soon found herself training in skeleton.

Team GB only had one spot for a skeleton racer at the 2006 Winter Olympics and Amy was unable to compete, but she continued to train and at the 2009 World Championships won her first silver medal.

By 2010 Team GB were allowed to send two skeleton athletes to the Vancouver Winter Olympics, and Amy soon found herself on the podium accepting a gold medal, after winning by more than half a second.

Her win made her the first British female individual Winter Olympic gold medallist since 1952.

In 2012 Amy decided to retire from skeleton, and moved on to presenting Ski Sunday for the BBC. She now hosts The Gadget Show on Channel 5.

In July 2014 she announced she was engaged to her partner of 12 weeks, Craig Ham.

In an exclusive interview with HELLO!, Amy said: "I can't wait to start a family, if I'm lucky to have children. For me it's a bit difficult because I feel like I've just started my career having retired from sport."
