Cheryl has delighted her three million Instagram followers by posting a stunning photo of herself in a green dress to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. The 33-year-old singer wrote: “Little green action #fbf for St. Patrick’s day.” Cheryl, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne of One Direction, posted the past X Factor picture for flashback Friday, which was widely celebrated on social media. “Such a beautiful dress! Love you lady,” wrote one follower. Another said: “I remember this episode when Simon called you Kermit,” and TV presenter and ex Saturdays singer, Rochelle Humes commented, “My pretty.”
Cheryl looked beautiful in the photo, which was taken way back in 2014. She wore the striking green one-shouldered Lanvin gown during her stint as X Factor judge that year. Fellow judge Simon Cowell had joked with Cheryl over an act, "I want to say to Kermit, it's not the reggae song it's how you perform it." But Cheryl hit back at his comments saying: "I don't think I'm the only Muppet on the panel tonight." Online followers found the joke so amusing, the hashtag #CherylKermit trended on Twitter that night.
Cheryl’s baby is due any day now, with fans eagerly awaiting news of the arrival. The singer has kept a low profile in recent weeks, with the occasional post on social media. This week HELLO! reported that the ex-Girls Aloud member is not likely to hire a nanny for her baby. Cheryl revealed in her 2009 autobiography Dreams That Glitter: "Once I've had a child I’m always going to be a mother and that is sacred; to me that’s what life is about. It’s what I’m doing this for – for my future with my family. I want to be at the point where I can take a year, 18 months, off."
