Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enjoyed a romantic kids-free getaway together at the weekend.

The Hollywood superstars were seen arriving at an LA hotel on Saturday for some well-deserved quality time together. They intimately wrapped their arms around each other’s waists as they made their way inside.

Angelina, 38, and Brad, 50, have been forced apart recently by their filming commitments, so their child-free trip comes at the perfect time.

The 12 Years A Slave actor spent much of the winter in London where he was filming his World War II drama Fury.

His future wife, meanwhile, was busy directing her own film Unbroken thousands of miles away in Australia, where she was joined by the couple’s six children – Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and twins Vivienne and Knox, five.

More recently, Brad attended a special screening for Big Men at the Sundance Theatre in LA on 26 March. His fiancé, meanwhile, introduced footage from her new film at CinemaCon, before flying to London and then on to Bosnia to speak out against the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war.

The couple were last seen together at the Oscars in March

The couple, who got engaged in April 2012, were last spotted publicly together at the Academy Awards in March.

According to reports, Brad and Angelina are finally getting round to planning their nuptials. "It's been a long time coming but finally it is going to happen," a source said.

Music fan Brad is said to have his heart set on rock band Kings of Leon performing on the big day.

The couple enjoyed some time off together, away from their six children

"Brad ended up partying with Kings of Leon when they played in Los Angeles last week," an insider told the Sun. "He spent most of the night talking to (frontman) Caleb and he sounded them out about playing.

"It will happen if they can make the dates work."
