He has included plenty of old-time classics inspired by childhood – think heartwarming shepherd's pie and scrumptious sticky toffee pudding.
And then there's an array of cherished dishes from countries around the world – Ghanaian groundnut stew from dashing actor Idris Elba's beloved mum, and gorgeous gado-gado (an Indonesian salad) – making sure that Jamie's latest creation has plenty to keep the most keen of chefs going.
Beautiful photography, step-by-step instructions and tips are also on the menu.
It's definitely one for the weekend – the indulgent dishes are not low-fat – and the collection of delicious recipes also includes some sweet treats perfect for holidays, celebrations and occasions.
We particularly love the Hummingbird cake – which Jamie recently rustled up on the six-part Channel 4 series, Jamie's Comfort Food – and the peanut butter and jelly brownies.

When it comes to comfort food, a burger will almost always win. And when it comes to Jamie's Insanity burger, we're sure it will.
Jamie says of the latest burger trend taking the nation by storm: "competition for the best burger in London has gone mad. Some burgers are gourmet and piled high with toppings, whereas others are thinner, simpler, wrapped in paper, steamy and sloppy.
"All I can say is my insanity burger is going to be right up there – the method is almost ritualistic in what it requires you to do to get close to burger perfection.
"I've also used the brilliant technique of brushing the burgers with mustard and a dash of Tabasco Chipotle sauce as they cook to build up an incredible gnarly layer of seasoning."
